Lao Airlines receives ISO9001
Lao Airlines received ISO9001 award for the best inflight services. The award handover ceremony took place in the afternoon of 11th June 2015 at the Lao Airlines Headquarters. Attending the ceremony were Dr. Viravanh Khamtanh – Head of Business Development Department, Dr. Somphone Douangdara – President of Lao Airlines, Mr. Somsamai Visounalath – Vice President of Lao Airlines who was in charge of the inflight operations, Mr. Rada Sunthorn – Vice President of Lao Airlines who was in charge of the ISO project, and Mr. Montree TangtermSirikul – General Manager of SSC, L&D and SSC Laos.
The receipt of ISO9001 from the ISO in United Kingdom (UKAS) was audited and evaluated by SGS Thailand.
The ISO9001 is the quality control system that is accepted by international level for implementation in all organizations of various sectors including productions, services, human resources development, etc… to obtain the high quality of the operations and to gain trust and satisfaction from customers. Therefore, ISO (services) and IOSA (safety) are the key priority objectives of Lao Airlines.
Since August 2013, Lao Airlines has implemented the system to maintain high quality in customer services by developing human resources, evaluating customer’s feedbacks, and evaluating staff performances to ensure the safety and best services to customers.
