Lao Airlines, the national flag carrier of Lao PDR, is officially inviting qualified lessors to submit proposals for the lease of one (01) CFM56-5B 4/3 engine. This initiative is designed to secure a serviceable and fully documented engine to support our Airbus A320 Family fleet.
Core Engine Requirements
To ensure operational excellence and safety, the following specifications are mandatory:

Engine Type: CFM56-5B 4/3.

Aircraft Application: Airbus A320 Family.

Quantity: 01 Unit.

Delivery Timeline: As soon as possible.

Minimum Lease Term: 2 years.
Mandatory Technical Standards
Proposals must demonstrate full compliance with the following technical benchmarks:

Remaining Life Limits: The engine and all life-limited parts (LLPs) must have a minimum remaining life of 6,000 flight cycles.

EGT Margin: Evidence must show a demonstrated EGT margin ≥ 50°C on recent test or trend data.

HPT Blades: Serviceability must be confirmed as Post CFM SB 72-1113 (P/N: 2403M91P06).

FADEC ECU: Requirements include Standard 5BTF1 on FADEC1+, P/N: 2044M38P08.

Airworthiness Documentation: Engines must be released with EASA Form 1 and/or FAA 8130-3.
Data & Records Submission
Bidders are required to provide a comprehensive technical “Mini-Pack,” including:

Back-to-Birth History: Complete records for the engine and all modules.

Borescope Inspection: A full inspection report including images.

Trend Monitoring (ECTM): Database access or export covering the last 12 months (EGT, N1, N2, oil consumption).

AD/SB Status: Evidence of compliance with all mandatory Airworthiness Directives.
Proposal Submission Details
All commercial proposals must include monthly lease rates, maintenance reserves (if applicable), transportation responsibilities, and insurance requirements.
