Lao Airlines Seeks International Airworthiness Advisor
The Government of Lao People’s Democratic Republic (GoL) has secured a US$ 1.75 million grant from the Word Bank for the Lao Airlines Sustainable Development Project (LASD). This project aims to enhance Lao Airlines through restructuring, optimization, and passenger service upgrades. Lao Airlines Engineering and Maintenance Department (EMD)
is looking for an International Airworthiness Advisor (IAA) with extensive experience in aircraft maintenance and airline management. The IAA will support EMD’s maintenance program,
identifying inefficiencies and providing professional advice. The airline’s fleet includes 11 aircraft, comprising four A320s and seven ATR72s.
Qualifications:

Master’s Degree or higher in a relevant field

15+ years of technical experience in airline or maintenance organizations

Proven track record in senior management
-
Recent similar assignments within the last 5 years

Proficiency in maintenance procurement processes

EASA (Part 145) and/or FAA (14 CFR Part 145) approval knowledge

Project management skills

Knowledge of aviation standards

Proficiency in English and strong presentation skills
