Join ChampaBonus
Register through Lao Airlines' website, mobile app, ticketing offices, check-in counters or Call Center. Your membership number is sent by email.

Travel and earn
Provide your membership number when booking and at check-in. Keep travel documents until eligible points are credited.

Redeem and enjoy
Use available points toward award flights on Lao Airlines, subject to programme rules, taxes and surcharges.
Points validity
Points remain valid for two years and expire at the end of the corresponding transaction month. Reminders are scheduled two months, one month and two weeks before expiry.
Eligible earnings
Points apply to qualifying flights. The guide excludes discounted or policy tickets and transactions before enrollment. Missing points may be claimed within six months.
Award ticket conditions
Airport taxes and applicable surcharges must be paid separately. Changes may incur fees; redeemed points are generally non-refundable, except as stated for airline-caused disruptions.
Programme terms: Point accrual, redemption, award-ticket changes, cancellation exceptions and membership responsibilities are governed by the official ChampaBonus Terms & Conditions.

When do points expire?
Points are valid for two years and expire at the end of the applicable transaction month. The guide specifies reminders two months, one month and two weeks before expiry.
Can I claim missing points?
Yes, for eligible flights within six months of the flight date. Keep the boarding pass and ticket details. Travel before membership registration is not eligible.
Can I book an award ticket for someone else?
Yes. Award tickets may be issued for the member or other authorized passengers, including family and friends. Applicable taxes and surcharges must be paid separately.
Can an award ticket be changed or refunded?
Date changes are allowed subject to the standard fee or penalty. Redeemed points are generally non-refundable; an exception applies for airline-caused irregular operations. See the ChampaBonus Terms & Conditions for the applicable conditions.
How long does membership status last?
The guide states that a tier is valid for one year from achievement and may be downgraded if renewal requirements are not achieved.
What happens if I stop flying?
The guide describes Dormant status after six months without a recorded flight, Expired status after 24 months, and archiving after a further 24 months without a flight following expiration.
