The Meaning of Ticket

A ticket is a document, issued by an Airline or a travel agency to confirm that an individual has purchased a seat on a flight on an Aircraft. This document is then used to obtain a boarding pass at the Airport. |

The itinerary or receipt issued by or on behalf of Carrier, the electronic coupons and, if applicable, a boarding document. |

A document or documents forming part of the Electronic Ticket containing the information and notices required for travel such as passenger name, itinerary, fare. |

Either the document “Passenger ticket and baggage check” or the Electronic Ticket, in each case issued by or on behalf of Carrier and including Condition of Contract, notices and the coupons contained in it. |
