To further the growth of our airline, we are seeking a highly experienced individual with strong commercial and marketing knowledge to lead and implement a robust strategy. This strategy will enhance our market position in the region, increase revenue streams, and attract more passengers. As the successful candidate, you will work as our “Commercial and Marketing Expert” who will work closely with the Commercial and Marketing Department and report directly to the Deputy Managing Director of Commercial and Marketing.

Responsibilities and Expectations

• Develop and implement a comprehensive commercial strategy to increase the airline’s
revenue streams.
• Lead and manage the sales, marketing, and distribution teams to achieve revenue targets
and ensure alignment with commercial objectives.
• Develop pricing and revenue management strategies to optimize yield and maximize
profitability.
• Manage key airline partnerships and negotiate new contracts to support the airline’s
commercial objectives.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including, travel agents, and
corporate clients.
• Work closely with the airline’s executive team to ensure alignment of commercial strategy
with overall corporate objectives.

Requirements

• Have experience in a senior commercial management role, and in the airline industry
preferably.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve revenue
targets.
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to identify new business
opportunities.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain
relationships with key stakeholders.
• Knowledge of revenue management and pricing strategies.
• Experience in managing airline partnerships and negotiating contracts.
• Professional and academic qualifications are a plus.

Terms

• Full-time 2 years contract (extendable)
• Annual leave: 30 days per year
• Tickets provided for positioning and for all network of Lao Airlines.
